Interest in design and architecture is deepened through continuing involvement with the academia & with formative activities that were introduced to us while at the school of architecture, Ahmedabad.

 

One of them is sketching. As an exercise in learning to see, we are fascinated by the way it allows exploration of formal & geographical relationships through drawing media. It's uncertain & suggestible connect with the work make for open-ended encounters, that break preconceptions, loosen rigid control & help in finding new meanings. Through this, sketching creates possibility for entering different architectures by studying, breaking up & remaking them for ourselves.

 

Interaction with students through design studios, history courses, drawing, representation & documentation exercises, etc. energizes our design inclinations by nurturing a sense of wonder for architectural worlds.
